Leeds Beckett University will be hosting the FA ITMMiF course for students.This is a 2 day course, supported with pre-reading.
The course will support you to better deal with life and limb threatening injuries on the field of play. But it’s important to note that concentrates only on those injuries that pose a threat to life and limb and will not cover basic management of musculoskeletal and other common injuries in football.

Content will focus on:

Medico-legal issues and duty of care in football
Emergency action planning for football
Primary A-E approach of the injured player
Sudden Cardiac Arrest in football
Basic Life Support (BLS) with use of Automated External Defibrillators (AED)
Airway management and oxygen therapy
Limb threatening fractures/ dislocations and their emergency management
Head injuries and The FA concussion guidelines
Spinal injury and management (inclusive of extrication)
Medical emergencies in football
