Description

A collaboration between the Centre for Child and Adolescent Physical Literacy and the Centre for Social Justice in Sport and Society, Leeds Beckett University

Join colleagues from the Centre for Child and Adolescent Physical Literacy and the Centre for Social Justice in Sport and Society at Leeds Beckett University for an engaging pre-conference event ahead of the Association for Physical Education (AfPE) Annual Conference.

This afternoon event brings together leading researchers and practitioners to learn, share and discuss ways of supporting happier and healthier children and young people through Physical Education. Through research-informed discussion and practical application, participants will explore how PE can positively influence wellbeing, engagement and lifelong participation in physical activity.

The event features two parallel strands: Physical Literacy Enactment in Schools and Trauma-Informed PE information, both designed to support professional learning and practical implementation within school and sport contexts
