Description

The LGW Conference is an established biennial conference that provides a forum for teachers and researchers who are interested in the exploration and exchange of research findings, experience and perspectives in language teaching, language learning and language skills development. Building on the success of the previous conferences in 2012 and 2015, the 3rd LGW Conference will be an international platform for the discussion of the importance of multilingual literacy and multicultural competence in a globalised world.

The aim of the LGW Conference is to bring together academics, teacher trainers, materials development experts and students concerned with discourse analysis, bilingual and multilingual education, multilingualism and plurilingualism in a globalised world, language learning provisions in the wider curriculum, languages and the world of work, digital age and its implications on research and language learning and teaching.

The conference will consist of plenary sessions and paper presentations or posters. We welcome abstracts of articles studying any language, spoken in any country in the world, including minority and endangered languages.

Plenary Speakers:

Prof. Miroslaw Pawlak (Adam Mickiewicz University), POLAND

Prof. François Pichette (TÉLUQ - University of Quebec), CANADA

Prof. Michael McCarthy (University of Nottingham), UK
